RE Classic Combat Edition by Dirt Machine Custom Motorcycles: Royal Enfield Classic 500 Desert Storm is one exclusive shade for the already popular Classic series. Dirt Machine Custom Motorcycles have made it even more exclusive by adding performance parts and raising its appeal through certain highlights.
Starting from wheels, this Classic 500 ‘Combat’ comes with 120mm front and 150mm rear tyre wrapped on fine aluminum spoke wheels. Both ends are equipped with disc brakes and out of that, the front is available with dual working discs for maximum braking power. They have used WP upside down forks for suspension duties at front while rear stays exactly the same as stock version.
The motorcycle now comes with custom lightweight front and rear fenders. One gets dual projector headlight on the front while rear now features under seat LED brake light. Dirt Machine Custom Motorcycles have used dual pod instrument console in place of Classic 350’s speedometer.
The bike belongs to tattoo artist Nitin Dev from Indore and was built in such a way that original stance stays alive at the end. It took them almost 45 days to build this bike. No changes were made to the engine section as Classic 500 is already a powerful machine with 499cc, single cylinder unit producing 27.2 BHP and 41.4 Nm of highly effective torque.
The version seen here comes with a custom swingarm that makes space for the rear disc. These days, RE is offering rear disc as standard on 500cc models.
