Vietnam: This Benelli TNT300 converted into a Ducati Panigale will leave you speechless

I see your heads shaking in utter disbelief. But its true. This motorcycle didn’t leave the factory as a Ducati, but as a Benelli, that too a lowly 300. It all makes sense as you swing your dumbfounded corneas to the swing-arm and engine sectors, where the Benelli connection thrives intact.

A Ducati 899 Panigale’s full fairing (or an inch-perfect replica of the same), replete with the LED headlamps, cover up traces of the TNT300’s oily bits, while the original fuel tank is swapped with a genuine (or an inch-perfect replica of the same) Ducati Panigale unit. Even the tail section, front fender and the seat are dead ringers for the ones found on the Ducati. I think we must unanimously agree that everything’s a perfect fit, and this thing will pass off as a Ducati to even the moderately enthusiastic motorcyclist.

Guess the original.
Apart from the rear mono-shock, the crankcase cover and the swing-arm, the Benelli’s wheels and smaller brakes are the other giveaways. However, the expensive Italian tuxedo will not make up for the lacklustre performance, as the Benelli’s 300-cc, liquid cooled, parallel twin motor is good for only 38 bhp, as compared to the 146.1 bhp that the 899 Panigale’s 898 cc L-Twin musters up. The after-market, SC-Project exhaust system won’t make up for it either.
